Girls Overview

Project Kealahou provides services, mentoring and support for girls like you who have been through some difficult times, and want to learn new skills and gain support to create a better life.

The Project provides services, mentoring and support for girls that encourage a foundation of well-being that allows you to focus on your goals and ambitions. These services and support help give you a voice in decision-making about your life and personal growth.

If you have questions about how to enroll in the Project, please call Ruth LaMer, clinical director, at (808) 733-9008 or send her an email at ruth.lamer@doh.hawaii.gov.

After you are enrolled in the Project, get involved in the variety of activities we have to offer, including Girls Circle, one-on-one and group activities, and help guide the Project by voicing your opinion on our Governing Council, and/or one of our advisory committees.
